Terms and Conditions

Introduction

These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by Open Arms Therapy. By booking or attending a session, you agree to the terms outlined below.

If participating in Hypnotherapy, you will be provided with an additional consent form in person for signature when visiting Open Arms Therapy in person.

Services

Open Arms Therapy provides psychotherapy and hypnotherapy sessions designed to support emotional wellbeing, personal development, and behavioural change.

All sessions are tailored to the individual; however, results may vary and no guarantees can be made regarding outcomes.

Appointments

Sessions must be booked in advance via agreed methods (e.g. WhatsApp, phone, or online).

It is your responsibility to attend sessions on time. Late arrival may result in a reduced session length.

Fees and Payments

Fees will be communicated prior to booking. Payment terms (e.g. upfront or on the day) will be agreed in advance.

Open Arms Therapy reserves the right to change fees with reasonable notice.

Cancellation Policy

At least 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, may be charged in full.

Confidentiality

All sessions are confidential. Information shared will not be disclosed to third parties without your consent, except where required by law or where there is a risk of harm to yourself or others.

Client Responsibility

Therapy is a collaborative process. You are responsible for your own participation and engagement in sessions.

Open Arms Therapy cannot be held responsible for decisions or actions taken by clients outside of sessions.

Medical Disclaimer

Therapy services provided are not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

If you are experiencing severe mental health issues or are in crisis, you should seek support from your GP, NHS services, or emergency services.

Suitability of Service

Open Arms Therapy reserves the right to decline or discontinue services if it is deemed not appropriate or in the client’s best interests. Where possible, alternative support options may be suggested.

Contact Between Sessions

Reasonable contact (e.g. WhatsApp messages) may be used for scheduling or brief support, but this does not replace therapy sessions.
